Td Tom Davies Eyewear in the Spotlight

Finding the right pair of glasses can be tricky at times - after all, every single one of us has a unique face and visual needs.

Our goal has always been to offer our customers a handpicked selection of customisable eyewear, fashionable designs, and unique colours. It comes as no surprise then, that one of the most popular collections among our patients is none other than Tom Davies eyewear.

As one of our personal favourites too, we’ve decided to put this British designer’s bespoke and ready to wear frames in the spotlight today…

Who Is Tom Davies?

British-born eyewear designer, Tom Davies, began his career in 1996, with a focus on producing elegant, comfortable, and well-crafted frames.

In 2001, he set up his own company, TD Tom Davies. Annually, they create 50,000 pairs of glasses, with their designs being worn by the likes of singer Ed Sheeran, actors Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt. Most recently, Tom Davies himself even designed 120 pairs of bespoke frames that were worn by Academy-Award winning actresses Emma Stone and Emma Thompson in the recently released Disney film Cruella!

Why Choose Tom Davies Eyewear?

Not only are Tom Davies glasses and sunglasses loved by so many across the globe, but they’re also made independently, right here in the UK. Being independent ourselves, we appreciate all the custom and loyalty we get from our customers in Cobham and the surrounding areas. Naturally, we want to show the same support for the independent brands who provide us with such unique frames for you, just like Tom Davies.

So, when you buy these frames from us, you can look great with the knowledge that you’re also supporting another local, independent business too!

High Quality Materials And Design

Having an independent ethos means that each frame is meticulously handcrafted, giving that flawless finish that Tom Davies is famous for. In order to achieve such a superior level of craftsmanship, they choose to use the highest quality materials to design their eyewear, including Silver 925, natural horn, pure titanium, and cotton acetate.

In fact, they even go one step further by actually making their own acetate, which gives every piece made from this material a distinct colouring that you won’t find anywhere else!

When you’re browsing our Tom Davies collection, don’t forget to look out for even the smallest details, that have been carefully designed too. One of our favourite features has to be how some of the acetate arms have been created so you can see the titanium beautifully showing through beneath it.

Bespoke Frames For You

We understand that every customer is unique, with their own preferences and style, and luckily for us, so does Tom Davies! That’s why we offer their fully customised, as well as partly bespoke options within our collection.

With our Tom Davies bespoke frames, you can expect every aspect to be completely customised to fit your natural features and individual lifestyle needs, from choosing your frame colour, to the materials used.

We also take exact facial measurements and make a number of frame adjustments, including shortening or lengthening the arms, and adjusting the bridge of your frames to ensure they sit perfectly and comfortably on your face.

For our partly customised selection, you’ll be able to pick one of our off-the-shelf models and choose your colour preference from one of the 105 exclusive acetate, and 25 titanium shades at no extra cost.

Every Tom Davies bespoke frame will be finished with your name discreetly engraved on the inside of the temple arm, making it well and truly yours, and yours only.
