As an Independent Opticians we have the advantage of being able to do what we want! We are different to the other Opticians on the high street as we don’t have a head office telling us how much time to spend with each patient or which brands we have to sell. You won't find most of our brands anywhere else on the high street! Our Optometrist Owners Sachin and Jeenal, have worked in different sectors of the industry over the past 15 years and have used this wealth of experience to create something special at The Optical Co.

Before opening the practice earlier this year, Sachin spent time as a locum Optometrist in and around Cobham so he could really understand the demographics and get an idea of what the patients want and expect. We believe we are the only truly Independent Opticians in Cobham as we don’t have several branches. This is why we can be completely flexible when it comes to lens suppliers and frame brands. Multiple Opticians tend to stock the same frames in all of their practices as it is more cost effective for them. This makes it difficult for them to cater to different tastes as what is popular in one location may not be as well received in another.
