AUTOMATIC PHOROPTER
The Automatic Phoropter is not only more accurate and quicker at checking your prescription, it is also much more comfortable than the old fashioned Trial Frame and it allows us to test at a distance of up to 7 metres!
OCT (OPTICAL COHERENCE TOMOGRAPHY)
The OCT machine takes a scan of the back of the eye using light waves to take cross-section pictures of your retina. This Non- Invasive Advanced Imaging technique gives us a 3D view of the layers of the retina. This allows Early Diagnosis of many sight threatening conditions such as Glaucoma, Age Related Macular Degeneration, Diabetes and others.
VISIOFFICE X
With our state of the art Visioffice X we are able to take all the measurements we require for Single Vision and Varifocal Lenses. The Visioffice X is currently the most advanced and accurate measuring tool available for dispensing glasses. OPTOMAP
We are now the only opticians in Cobham who offer Optomap ultra wide field retinal photography scans. The Optomap is a 200 degree digital image of the retina. This is much wider than the traditional 45 degree image and therefore enables earlier detection and treatment of sight threatening eye conditions like retinal detachments/tears, diabetic retinopathy and many more.
